How to maintain a household

One has to have rules in place to run a household -- strict rules from which we do not deviate.

Because of these rules, my house is like a museum: it's very beautiful, it's very cold and you're not allowed to touch anything.

I'd like to take this opportunity to educate you on how to properly maintain your household's natural decorum. Please feel free to print this and refer back to it as often as needed.

No feeding animals at the table:

Always start the day with a proper balanced breakfast:

Maintain scintillating conversation at the table so no one gets bored: 

Everyone in the house should maintain proper posture at all times:

Good health and vision is an asset; maintain it carefully:

Do not allow children in the kitchen unless they are capable of helping without making any mess whatsoever:

Do not indulge a child's fantasies; keep him firmly grounded in reality: 

This should go without saying, but obviously no running, jumping, dancing or any loud noises should be permitted inside at any time:
